Student Leadership

Student Leadership provides students and student groups with essential and effective leadership skill development through a comprehensive formation program to further aid in students’ embodiment of the Catholic-Franciscan mission and values at the University of Saint Francis. Student Leaders, through a variety of positional roles, are charged with building and edifying the campus community at the University of Saint Francis. Accordingly, the particular mission and values at the university informs the core competencies that shape this formation; namely:

  • Integrity and authenticity
  • Servant leadership
  • Vocational discernment

Student Leadership Learning Outcomes

As a result of participating in the student leadership program at USF, students will:

  • Demonstrate skills and behaviors that contribute to the development of community
  • Integrate the USF Franciscan Values into a personal philosophy of leadership
  • Demonstrate emotionally intelligent leadership competencies
